Hey,

I have run into a few md5 files that have the text file with in the md5. Usually I remove the txt code so it does not continue to get an error everytime I check it. Do you think it is ok to do this? I don't think txt files can stay the exact same the whole time. They do change a bit. PLus, sometimes you have to get them for some other place, and they may be the exact txt. Anyone else agree with me? I know that I am violating the taper's source, but md5's for txt's seems stupid to me.

TXT files shouldn't be in the MD5 files. Differe operating systems use different line termination characters and this can cause real issues.
